The Duties and Responsibilities of Marmara University Distance Education Application and Research Center (Marmara UZEM)*

a) Conduct research, development, and organization activities related to distance education for all academic and administrative units within the university.

b) Support the delivery of courses within the university through distance education methods and the development of applications related to distance education. Within this framework, engage in strategic planning related to distance education.

c) Facilitate the development of all types of scientific studies, assess the distance education needs of public and private sector institutions, analyze them, propose programs, develop them, and ensure their implementation.

d) Transfer knowledge and expertise related to the center's objectives and scope to relevant institutions and organizations. Determine the administrative, financial, and technical application principles to achieve these objectives, develop projects, organize scientific meetings, and publish periodic and/or permanent publications on the subject.
